February 2009/-- Some weeks ago in December 2008 the award winning journalist, broadcast journalist and author of several books, Amy Goodman, a Harvard University graduate and anchor of Democracy NOW!, an independent daily television and radio news hour which is aired on more then 750 television and more then 200 radio stations in North America and other countries has received the Right Livelihood Award with her sister laureates, Dr. Monika Hauser from Medica Mondiale, Asha Haji a female politician from Somalia and Krishnammal Jagannathan and her husband from Lafti in India.
Amy Goodman offers an educational television and radio program which is providing a good example how truly independent journalism and news not only in the United States of America but in many other places could look like. Before Amy Goodman has received the Right Livelihood Award which is referred as the Alternative Nobel Prize she has got arrested in September 2008 covering independent television reports about the Republican National Convention (RNC).
This has caused me to do a lot of an international research on the works of the journalists Amy Goodman and Juan Gonazlez from Democracy Now! Democracy Now! with its educational character is an outstanding television and radio program. Democracy Now! broadcast Monday to Friday has many viewers and listeners from the United States of America and many different places in this world.
There is no doubt the mother Dorrie of Amy Goodman has all reason to be proud and thankful for a precious daughter like Amy Goodman and her precious commitment for peace and truly independent "trickle up" journalism.
In the city of Stockholm in Sweden I had the great joy and honor to meet my colleague the journalist, broadcast journalist and author Amy Goodman from Democracy NOW! because of some television productions which I have been responsible for.
However I had the honor to write about my colleague and some of her works. While doing an independent research on the life and works of Amy Goodman I have been able to get this much information that I could easily write three up to four books on Amy Goodman and Democracy NOW!. In February 2009 the first book on Amy Goodman, which is my fourth book which has been published since 2008 has been published.

Since 1984 I am working as independent journalist, broadcast journalist and author of several books. Three books which I have written have been published in 2008. In 1986 I became the founder of the international media project association and media network IBS Independent Broadcasting Service Liberty, Radio IBS Liberty and IBS Television Liberty, which is supporting international understanding since 1986.
In December 2008 when Amy Goodman (United States of America), Dr. Monika Hauser, (Swiss-Italian, medica mondiale Germany), Krishnammal Jagannathan and her husband (India) and Asha Haji (Somalia) have received the Right Livelihood Award as known as the Alternative Nobel Prize.
I had the chance and duty to travel to Stockholm in Sweden for special research and reports on radio, television and papers and I am very thankful that I had the chance to meet my colleague and journalist Amy Goodman from Democracy NOW!
